YEYSKY AREA

The area of Yeysk is located in the north of Krasnodar Region, within 237 km from Krasnodar. Its territory is washed from the three sides by the waters of Azov Sea the gulf of Taganrog, the estuary of Yeysk, Yasensky gulf, Beisugsky estuary and the sea itself. The sandy spits project into the sea for several kilometers, such as — Yeyskaya, Dolgaya, Kamyshevatskaya.

The frequent visitors here are the parents with children, anglers and hunters, and the fans of surfing.

1. THE SIGHTSEEING TOUR AROUND THE CITY OF YEISK

Seeing the downtown, rich with monuments of architecture, visiting the memorial of a Great Russian fighter — I.M. Poddubny. The excursion also includes the tour about the port of Yeysk and the local Military Aviation School named after Yu. A. Gagarin.

2. HANSKOE LAKE

Duration — 1 day, available from May until October.

The city sightseeing tour of "Yeysk: the past, present, the future", familiarity with the area of Yeysk, the rich farm lands, estuaries with therapeutic mud, wildlife preserves and sandy beaches. Upon arrival in Yasenskaya village — attendance of the best in the region Museum of Nature, familiarization with the rich flora and fauna of Priazovye. Then, a trip to Hanskoe Lake, where one would not only admire the color of the local nature, observe the rare kinds of waterfowl, listed in the Red Book, but also to take the natural mud baths.

3. THE OSTRICH RANCH

The ostrich ranch is a unique entertainment complex located in one of the most picturesque corners of a recreation park named after Poddubny. During the excursion, it is offered to observe the whole life cycle of this exotic bird — from an egg up to an adult specimen. At the ranch, it is possible to observe both; the families of adult ostriches, and the chicks born on the farm, aged from one day up to three months. After the excursion, it is possible to ride the horses.

4. THE FISHING OF AZOV

Duration — 1-7 days, available from May until February.

The tour is developed in cooperation with the Society of Hunters and Fishers of Yeysk.

Priazovye is famous for a great amount of river and sea fishes such as the pikeperch, sea roach, vimba, grey mullet, carp, and sturgeon are found here. The Azov fish is considered the most delicious and is appreciated by the experts far beyond the region's boundaries. The rivers of Yeysky Area are rich with crawfish.

Variants of accommodation: the lodges at Yasenskaya passage, "Tornado" hotel in the city of Yeysk. Additional services: hire of boats, fishing rods, fishing tackles, services of a cook.

5. KUBAN SAFARI

Duration — 2-3 days, available from October until April.

The tour was developed jointly with the Society of Hunters and Fishers of Yeysk.

The tour will be interesting to the fans of activity holidays — which will have a unique opportunity to hunt the wild animals: the fox, hare, raccoon, and the wild boar. The hunt is done by the method of battue, with a brigade of hunters of 3-10 persons under the guidance of the skilled huntsmen-pathfinders at Yasenskaya passage of Yeysky Area.

Accommodation is available in the one-storeyed hunting house in the most picturesque place of the fluxes of Priazovie. The services of huntsmen, a beater, and a license for shooting are available. In addition, the services of a cook, skeet shooting can be provided.

6. DLINNAYA SPIT

Dlinnaya Spit is a landscape natural sanctuary of Krasnodar Region. There are some unique shelly beaches, deep sea, fresh-water lakes, rich fauna and flora of Azov Sea and the steppes of Priazovie.

The skilled instructors will teach you not only to ride a horse, but will also take you by the horse riding routes at Dlinnaya Spit along the coast.
