Yeysky Area is located in the north of Krasnodar Region. Its territory is washed from three sides by the waters of Azov Sea.

The area is known for its complex of sanatorium and medical institutions, numerous bases of rest. The therapeutic muds and mineral springs make Yeysky Area one of the best balneological and muds resorts at Azov Sea. Recreation in Yeysk is recommended to people with diseases of cardiovascular system, locomotorium, nervous system, skin and gynecologic diseases. Several sources of hydrosulphuric, nitrogen-methane, chloride-sodium, and iodide-bromide waters applied for baths were discovered in the area.

All resorts of the region use the therapeutic silt muds of the salty Khanskoe Lake, which is located within 40 kilometers to the south from Yeysk and is a natural monument of regional significance.

The distance from Krasnodar to Yeysk is 237 km, which could be covered by train, bus or a car.
